Their ceremony took place in the Hidden Terrace, one of the most tucked-away and romantic spaces at Salish Lodge & Spa. With its secluded atmosphere and natural beauty, it created the perfect setting for an intimate vow exchange surrounded by their closest family and friends. As Kaia and Matt stood together beneath the soft spring skies, they shared one of the most meaningful moments of the day, made even more special by the presence of their two beloved dogs, who were a beautiful part of the celebration.

One of the many things that makes Salish Lodge & Spa such a memorable wedding venue is its deep history and connection to the Pacific Northwest. Perched above the breathtaking Snoqualmie Falls, the property dates back to the early 1900s when it originally served travelers visiting the falls and workers connected to the nearby hydroelectric project. Today, it remains one of the most sought-after venues for couples looking to celebrate surrounded by both history and natural beauty.

After the ceremony, guests gathered for cocktail hour on the large outdoor patio just outside Kaia and Matt’s suite. With fresh spring air, sweeping views, and a relaxed atmosphere, it was the perfect space for guests to mingle, enjoy drinks, and soak in the beauty of the lodge. The intimate setting allowed everyone to slow down and truly enjoy each moment of the celebration.

As the evening transitioned indoors, the reception was held in the warm and romantic Wine Cellar. The cozy ambiance created an unforgettable atmosphere for dinner, heartfelt toasts, and a celebration filled with laughter and joy. One of the most unique and memorable touches of the evening was a live painter creating a portrait of Kaia and Matt throughout the reception, capturing the beauty of their wedding day in a timeless and artistic way.

As the night unfolded, emotional speeches were shared, glasses were raised, and the love surrounding Kaia and Matt was felt in every corner of the room.
